Christ the King Church (PCA) in Wilmington, NC invites applications for senior pastor. CtK is a church of approximately 125 members who esteem the Bible as the Word of God and value the Westminster Confession as an excellent summary of biblical doctrine. Our Sunday worship service features the reading of the Word, preaching, prayer, and praise. Our ministries include mercy ministry, women’s ministry, and RUF (at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, a university of almost 18,000 students).
Our church: The church worships in our own church building which includes the sanctuary, fellowship hall and kitchen, extensive classroom spaces for adults and children of all ages, and the senior pastor’s office. Our community: Wilmington is a community nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Cape Fear River and is an attractive location for families, singles, and retirees who enjoy great weather and outdoor recreational activities including golf, swimming, surfing, fishing and boating. The community is a host to two institutions of higher education (Cape Fear Community College and the University of North Carolina Wilmington) and many small, medium, and large businesses. The area is growing rapidly as people seek to live in a location that is vibrant but still has a small-town feel. Our church building is located in a residential neighborhood situated not far from the heart of downtown – an ideal location to minister to our city.

Search Committee Timeline: The search committee will review applications as they are received. Candidates who are prayerfully considered as a possible “fit” for CtK will be further contacted for written responses to a set of search committee questions. Once the questions are completed, candidates who advance in the search deliberations will be contacted for an interview.
