Rob and his wife Hayley have five children-Molly, Maggie, Kate, Camille, and Knox-and are glad to call Wilmington home. After graduating with a degree in music from UNCW, Rob attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where he earned his Master of Divinity degree. He has served churches in Virginia Beach, VA and Naples, FL. In 2010, Rob and Hayley returned to Wilmington to plant Christ the King Church. Rob enjoys music, reading, hunting and fishing, and anything that involves getting out on the water and in the sun.

Jonathan and his wife Shelley have 3 boys - Jackson, Sam and Charlie. A native of Pinehurst, NC, Jonathan is a graduate of the University of South Carolina. Prior to his work with Christ the King, Jonathan served on the Young Life staff for 14 years in Greenville, Florence and Columbia, SC, as well as Wilmington. Jonathan is co-owner of a local construction company (Crawlspace Medic) and enjoys running, surfing, playing golf, wrestling his boys, vacations, and listening to the real JT (James Taylor) in his spare time.

Shelley is originally from Florence, SC and graduated with a degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management from Clemson University. Shelley and her studly husband, Jonathan, moved to Wilmington in 2014 for him to continue his work with Young Life, an outreach ministry for high school students. Shelley enjoys music, a rare moment of quiet, couponing, having people in her home, and baking! They have three handsome and crazy boys; Jackson, Sam, and Charlie.
Katie is originally from Jackson, MS and went to Mississippi State University where she met her husband, Brandon. They lived in Bowling Green, KY and Columbia, SC before visiting Wilmington and deciding to move here in 2009. Katie enjoys being outdoors, learning about herbal medicine, and traveling.
Mary Catherine Thompson
Mary Catherine was born and raised in Wilmington. She met her husband, Rob, while volunteering in the nursery at a church when they were in college and were married in 2012. She graduated from UNCW with a degree in Elementary Education. After 9 years of teaching, she decided to leave the classroom to spend more time with her son, Wyatt, born in 2018. She enjoys reading, checking things off to-do lists, and pretty much anything outside!
