Adults
We offer regular bible studies and Christian education classes for adults on Sunday mornings at 9:30. These classes are a good place to both grow in your understanding of God and to make new friendships with others who are following Christ.
Children
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me.” As a church that is passionate about reaching the next genereation with the good news of God’s grace, children are important to us. Our children’s ministry is built around one simple concept: to help parents fulfill their God-given responsibility to raise their children for Him (Deuteronomy. 6:6-7; Ephesians 6:4). Our goal, therefore, is to partner with parents to teach children the love and truth of God found in his Word and in His Son, Jesus Christ.
Safety
Safety comes first in the children’s ministry at Christ the King. You will see this reflected in our policies, practices, and prayers. We are committed to treating your children with the same care as you would. This starts at check-in and doesn’t end until you pick them up. As we see it, your child’s safety is ensured by accountability for volunteers and workers, clean and safe classrooms, behavior guidelines for children, and close partnership with parents. When it comes to your child’s safety, we believe there is no room for error. Please ask one of our children’s leaders for a copy of our safety policy.
Nursery
Our nursery is available for infants and toddlers up through age 3 during the Sunday School hour.
Classes
We offer weekly Sunday School classes for children by grade. These classes help us partner with parents to pass on the faith to the next generation by providing thorough Bible teaching, Christian education, and mentoring from other Christian adults. We currently use the Gospel Project curriculum. We hope to make learning fun while helping our children to become faithful and devoted followers of Christ.
